Abu Dhabi-settled Public Oil Development Organization (NPCC) has been granted a $744 million nearby oilfield improved contract, state news office WAM provided details regarding Tuesday, referring to state-possessed Abu Dhabi Public Oil Co (ADNOC).
The designing, acquisition, and development contract is for the full field advancement of the Belbazem Seaward Block in Abu Dhabi, WAM said.
The agreement was granted by Al Yasat Oil Tasks Organization, a joint endeavor among ADNOC and China Public Petrol Company (CNPC).
Job Title – Barge Supdt.(Floating Barges) Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities:
- Overview of the role:
Purpose & Scope: - General administration and overall supervision of the barge with the responsibility of all personnel and equipment onboard the barge.
- Coordination with the base for the administration of the barge, progress reporting, future barge requirements, and other relevant important matters.
- Ensuring proper fuel and water supply to the barge and supporting vessels by co-coordinating with the base.
- Ensuring periodical maintenance of barge equipment and coordination for their repairs, spare parts, etc.
- Control and supervision of external and internal maintenance of the barge including painting, cleaning, and relevant repairs to ensure good housekeeping.
- Suggesting to base and implementation of barge modifications for better operations of the barge and improved productivity.
- Supervised of warehousing of stores on the barge and ensured efficient use of available space and proper storage of all barge and project material.
- Ensuring proper catering services to barge personnel.
- Resolving personnel problems of the barge personnel if cannot be resolved by juniors/subordinates.
- Scheduling of leave breaks for barge personnel ensuring that all operations are effectively carried out all the time on the barge.
- Motivation for safety consciousness amongst all personnel on the barge and ensuring that safety measures of installation procedures are implemented on the barge.
Educational requirements:
- High school or equivalent
Experience requirements:
- A Minimum of at least Minimum of 15- 18 years of experience with proven offshore barge experience, structure as well as pipe laying.

- All offshore safety training requirements
Qualifications:
- Organizational and leadership skills, night attitudes
- Superior knowledge of all aspects of offshore operations.
