Role Purpose:

The Checker is responsible for inspecting and recording shipments. The role holder will also be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders.

Receiving Operations

Collaborate with staff to identify expected deliveries
Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
Unload packages from incoming trucks
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality and price)

Ensure invoices are signed and paid for deliveries
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Adhere to all general health and safety rules and regulations

Participate in professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Studying towards / partially acquired professional certification in a discipline relevant to their audit focus area (Operations & Finance Audit)

Minimum experience
