Draftsman – Job Responsibilities / Requirements

• Attending site visits and meetings with the project and site manager
• Drawing plans and elevations for the project to achieve the finishes as per the brief
• Communicating details of drawings with the production team to prepare a clear drawing to be used for build and onsite
• Provide solutions for complex builds
• Assist site managers onsite for certain projects, as required
• Make electrical drawings for projects
• Split elements to provide the factory and site manager with a clear understanding of the project
• Have knowledge about weight load and stability of the structure and apply it to drawings Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Besides being proficient in Auto CAD 2D and 3D, the following knowledge and experience are required:
• Have experience making technical drawings for wood (Such as MDF, ply etc), Metal and acrylic
• Must have experience in making technical drawings to achieve the finish as requested by the client
• Understand the requirements of the event and give valid input on the structural integrity of the stand
• Know how to make electrical drawings
• Be able to make easy, clear to understand drawings
