Responsibilities:
- General understanding of geological problem solving
- Ability to integrate diverse datasets across multiple scales to build subsurface models
- Candidates must be able to work effectively within and across diverse multi-discipline team environments
Educational requirements:
- Candidates should have MA/MS and/or PhD in Geology or Geophysics or Geoscience (or related fields)
- Candidates should have a strong fundamental background in the earth sciences, physical sciences, and mathematics
- Selected Geoscientists will start work in one of the following companies: Upstream, ExxonMobil Engineering and Technology Company, Low Carbon Solutions or XTO Energy
- Must have the permanent right to work in the US
Experience requirements:
- Coding ability, MatLab, Python, and Machine Learning are valuable skills for a geoscientist at ExxonMobil
