Due to continued expansion, Jones Engineering require Mechanical Process Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Cork.

Principal Accountabilities
•    Provide mechanical  maintenance service for Industrial/Pharma Plant
•    To fault find, troubleshoot plant problems
•    By using computerised maintenance system(SAP/PEMAC)ensure that all breakdowns,work orders and maintenance routines are completed and documented to an expected standard as defined in SOPs
•    Participate in plant improvement teams
•    Assist in installation/commissioning of new plant when required
•    To provide training to plant operators in basic equipment maintenance
•    To be able to operate machines and plant when required for maintenance
•    Communications—carry out shift change over/handover.Participate in team meetings and channel team information as appropriate
•    Report and investigate all incidents,accidents and breakdowns resulting in any shift downtime.
•    Advise planned maintenance regarding spare parts/consumables and material requirements
•    Always work in a safety first mode. Be familiar with safe system permits, plant isolation, method statements, risk assessments ,confined space working, hot work permits etc

Qualification
•    Senior trades qualification with emphasis on  mechanical maintenance
•    Continuous improvement training, familiarity with usage of continuous improvement tools

Knowledge and Experience
•    Proven experience as a mechanical  maintenance fitter in an Industrial/Pharma environment
•    Have worked in a multi skilled environment having good electrical and instrumentation skills
•    Proven experience of working on Utility plants, Boilers, Refrigeration,air plants etc.
•    Proven aptitude for problem solving and trouble shooting with a familiarity with continuous improvement tools
•    Good communications and Interpersonal skills
•    Excellent Organisational skills
•    Good CMMS experience(SAP/PEMAC etc) and systems skills (Work,Excel etc)
