Planning Engineers – Job Description

• Responsible for Planning, Scheduling and Monitoring of the project assigned and performing the Reporting procedures for the client/consultant and internally for the Project Manager.
• Prepare Work Breakdown Structure, development of Level 4 Schedules with resource & cost loading 3 Development of Progress Measurement System & S-Curve. Manpower & Equipment Histograms.
• Develop Drawing & document deliverable schedule, Material Tracking Register and set Weekly Target as per Project schedule. The target, reviewed & approved by the PM has to be made effective by the planner by constant follow-ups with project members.
• Responsible for accuracy of reports being generated for Site team / Clients / HO Management.
• Document delay events on regular basis and prepare the Delay Analysis, and support the PM/ Planning Head for preparation of Time Extension Claims.
• Responsible to monitor Contractual BOQ, release of variations in BOQ, Site/Field Instruction, extra work & add these in the program to claim Extension of Time and Cost.
• Site based Planning Engineer should prepare micro level Quantity based KPI to monitor the key items.
• To visit the site and physically to verify progress, constrains and responsible to alarm for variation and excess usage of resources on weekly basis to PM & HOD.
• Prepare Earned Value Analysis on monthly basis and submit to PM & Discipline Heads. Preparation of Monthly reports with progress and commercial status for the General Manager.
• Responsible to generate Deployment Plan based on balance Quantity Plan & Productivity consideration & ensure accuracy to data i.e. BOQ, Completed Quantity, Actual Productivity achieved.
• Coordinating with the Planning counterpart with client or consultant side in a smooth and effective way, and to obtain required data regarding access or free issue material.
• Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
• Complies with all relevant safety, health & environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe environment

Planning Engineers – Job Requirement

• Must be having Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in Project planing etc
• Able to understand planning tools, Microsoft Office etc.
