Job Title – Responsable Environnement (H/F) Jobs in Paris, France
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of environmental operational monitoring, advice and performance of the project, in collaboration with the operational team.
- Monitor BREEAM and HQE certification requirements related to site environmental management;
- Establish the monitoring reports required under the contract;
- Follow up on subcontractors (coordination of environmental correspondents under contractors);
- Provide training on various environmental topics (eg waste management, management of hazardous products, etc.).
- Participate in specific actions of communication and environmental improvement in accordance with the environmental objectives of the project.
- Perform site environmental inspections from mobilization to demobilization.
- Train, guide, mentor and monitor site environmental staff.
- Report key performance indicators to project HSE manager and project manager/director.
- Participate in the site environmental management meeting
- Accompany the Health, Safety and Environment team to carry out site visits, and QSE receptions.
Educational requirements:
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or environment/sustainability;
Experience requirements:
- Experience as an environmental professional, in a construction company, preferably in a main contractor (buildings, civil works, etc.) is desirable;
Desired Skills:
- Construction experience;
- Knowledge of BREEAM and/or HQE standards
- Knowledge of French environmental legislation;
- Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO 45001.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
- Highly motivated.
- Learns quickly.
