Job Title – Supply Chain Operations Supervisor Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership in day to day operations through effective communications, coaching, training and developmen
Ensure effective safety, security and controls performance that meets the global standard

Oversight and stewardship of assigned personnel in all aspects of warehouse operations; Goods receiving, issuing, storage, and other basic warehouse functions
Ensure warehouse employees are trained and operate consistent with established procedures, controls and Procurement Warehouse Handbook
Administrative Activities: Timesheet management, Metrics stewardship and reporting, goods/services approvals, controls checks, etc.

Communicate regularly with the Business Unit Supervisors / Management to assess warehouse performance and develop action plans to continually improve on performance to meet clients objectives
Represent general Procurement to Payables interests with local Business Unit Management
Develop and conduct Plant and Procurement Management presentations / communications

Perform ongoing personnel performance assessment and counseling
Manage operating budgets
Manage compliance of local regulations.

Special projects as assigned

Educational requirements:

Masters degree (e.g. Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Logistics, or equivalent)

Safety & Controls are key aspects to this role
Continuous Improvement mindset
Daily communications in both Dutch and English, so the candidate needs to be fluent in both languages

Experience requirements:

Demonstrated ability to lead people by example and achieve results
Familiarity with SAP R/3 and general warehousing technologies

Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all organizational levels from Senior Plant Management to Warehouse Operatives
Must be proficient in Microsoft application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must have strong analytical skills and controls awareness

Must be knowledgeable in Warehouse Management / Materials Distribution and Inventory Control requirements / basic standards.
