Used Cars Buyers – Job Description

  • Generates leads and creates appointments by researching the available used car market
  • Understands market tendencies and develops effective working relationships with all purchasing venues (to accelerate the placement of ideal inventory in an expeditious and cost-effective manner)
  • Compiles all necessary reports, forms and other documentations on a timely basis
  • Ensures the highest degree of customer satisfaction
  • Approaches, greets and interfaces with dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase/trade-in their current vehicles
  • Provides guidance and support to dealership Sales Associates (as it relates to the purchasing of used vehicles)
  • Appraises used vehicles
  • Attends Product and Sales training courses as requested by Sales Managers
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories and their benefits to guests
  • Understands values and equity and is able to explain depreciation to guests
  • Approaches competitors’ dealerships for the possibility of exchanging vehicles as an additional source of used car inventory
  • Reports objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses to the Sales Manager
  • Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively
  • Follows the directions of the Sales Manager

Used Cars Buyers – Job Requirement

  • Must have a sound understanding of the current used cars’ market and pricing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Qatari Driver’s License
  • Computer skills (Office Suite)
  • Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • High level of customer service
