BIM Specialist – Job Responsibilities

• Assist with establishing project teams and resources. Utilise, create, where necessary, and manage project specific families.
• Project delivery, development of discipline specific engineering calculations, carry out modelling duties, co-ordinate with modelling teams and ensure full integration of modelling information with other disciplines.
• Review of drawings for roads and highway projects such as Major express ways, highways, motorways, urban and local roads
• Review of profiles/ TCS / Running cross sections, drainage plans, road signs, markings, junction layouts-at grade, roundabout or grade separated, utility plan, traffic management plan and grading plans, sketches & figures.
• Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM Modeling and the collaboration and coordination with other disciplines for design-changes and model challenges.

BIM Specialist – Job Requirements

• A Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering membership.
• Minimum 20 years of working experience on infrastructure projects mainly roads and highways.
• Experience in supervision activities on major expressways and utilities projects.
• People managing skill, with excellent written and verbal skills. Able to build excellent client relations through communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
