Control System Engineer – Job Responsibilities

• Performs basic design and detailed engineering for Instrumentation & Control, including preparation of engineering documents, specifications, data sheets and engineering deliverables.
• Preparing and guiding designer/draftsman for preparing all I & C drawings like Instrument Hook-ups, Loop diagram, Cable block diagram, wiring drawings, Instrument Support drawings, Cable tray/trench layout, Instrument/Junction box plan & location layout, etc. as per the project requirements.
• Preparing purchase specification and RFQ documents in accordance with project requirements for all instrument & control items.
• Develop basic & detailed design specifications for Controls, HMI, 3rd Party Sub-systems integration, System Sizing including L2/L3 network design, Test Procedures.
• Shall be responsible for Interface with OEM’s and End User for system integration /application engineering activities.
• Attending Factory Acceptance Test /IFAT/ 3rd Party subsystem interface tests / site Acceptance tests.
• Conducting Site Survey, Engineering Support at site, attend Field Instrument & Control Inspection, FAT at vendor’s workshop and SAT Support.

Control System Engineer – Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Instrument and Control Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in the design/project execution of Instrumentation & Control System for Oil & Gas Industry.
• Knowledge and experience in Field Instrument Engineering as well as Control System, e.g. DCS, ESD, F&G,RTU.
• Experience in the design integration of the following instrumentation systems hardware. DCS, PLC, SCADA and Remote I/O.
• Conversant with international codes and standards applicable for Instrumentation & Control Systems and ability to execute tasks independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
