About Enerflex

Job Title – Designer – Retrofit Jobs in Houston Texas, USA

Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining all standard drawings related to the manufacture of the existing compressor packages.
Using AutoCAD and Cadworx, 3D design software.
Working with R&D designers to research and develop new packages, new design concepts, assemblies, and parts.

Completion of Engineering Change Requests (updating existing model drawings and designs with equipment changes, technology advancements, design improvements, etc.)
Coordinate with Project Designers/Engineers, QC, and shop personnel to complete the assigned jobs.

Educational requirements:

Graduate of a recognized post-secondary Design/Drafting program or a relevant program and experience.
Proven ability to take drawings from conception to detailed engineering requirements.
Proficiency with 3D design, modeling software (i.e., Cadworx).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word programs (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Familiarity with P&ID drawings, schematics, mechanical & fabrication drawings, dimensioning and tolerancing.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills.
Developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Position requires some travel.

Experience requirements:

Must have detailed design experience in the Oil and Gas industry; gas compression experience considered an asset.
