Job Title – Financial Analyst (Financial Reports and Review) Jobs in Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities:

  • Job Description
  • Preparing the general final account project and issuing the financial statements in accordance with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards ( IPSAS) , including:
  • Preparing updated aggregate reports and ensuring their validity
  • Coordinating directly with the external auditors and providing all the requirements of the external audit office to complete the preparation of the draft final account
  • Issuing audited financial statements and verifying compliance with the requirements of the Financial Department and the Government Financial Supervisory Authority.
  • Studying and analyzing all foundations, standards and procedures related to exchange operations, financial appropriations, contracts, etc., and recommending developmental measures.
  • Reconciliation and settlement of transactions and accounts of revenues and payments by reviewing bank accounts and track accounts of internal government transactions, etc., according to regulations and systems, and monitoring relevant gaps.
  • Preparing audit plans and inventorying implementation requirements in coordination with the Audit and Risk Management office or external auditing bodies in accordance with the auditing methodology of the Government of Dubai and applying recommendations and directives resulting from internal audits or issued by the relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Review all bank reconciliations implemented in the department and make recommendations to address cases of non-conformity and ensure the periodicity of application with the line manager.
  • Reviewing financial refunds from various beneficiaries and services and ensuring their impact on the relevant financial and bank accounts.
  • Reviewing the periodic closings (monthly – quarterly – annually) according to the requirements of the Government Finance Department, including closing the receipts track, the revenue track, the salaries track, the assets track and the general ledger track.
  • Conducting analysis of the financial and accounting data, preparing a summary of the financial situation and submitting it to the line manager, including analysis of bank settlement data, debt reconstruction (revenues), debt reconstruction (expenses), and the salary report.
  • Work to achieve financial sustainability by conducting a financial analysis of resources and assets and making recommendations to increase efficiency and quality and ensure optimal use.
  • Adhere to the information security policies and procedures approved by the Authority and work to comply with the controls to ensure the confidentiality of information.
  • Any other duties and specializations within the scope of the job responsibilities.

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.Fluency in both Arabic and English(speaking and writing)

  • A minimum of At least 2-5 years experience in accounts.
