Job – General Accountant

Job Description :

· Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information

· Document financial transactions by entering account information

· Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.

· Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

· Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule

· Maintaining books of account in a manner to depict the profit by project correctly.

· Coordinating with the departments to ensure information for the transactions is completely and accurately received.

· Coordinating for approvals of Payments and Expense Requests.

· Preparing periodic Cash Flows, bank reconciliations, project reconciliations, etc

· Coordinating internal and external audits to ensure compliance

· Coordination with banks for statements, LC, guarantees, etc.

· Calculating and preparing the periodic VAT and filing of VAT Returns.

· Knowledge of all applicable Saudi Laws like VAT, Zakat, etc.

· Must have knowledge of Project Accounting.

· Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

· Secure financial information by completing database backups

· Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions

· Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

· Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with customers and vendors personnel for coordinating business transactions.

· Assist in ad-hoc accounting-related work and perform all the functions required for the process.
