GIS Director – Job Description

• GIS & Integration specialists with AM Systems experience
• Develop GIS Protocols for programme master plan and monitor compliance with multiple stakeholders;
• Experience with the implementation of ISO 19115:2014 Geographic Information Metadata standards, and how to describe geographical information and associated services, including contents, spatial-temporal purchases, data quality, access and rights to use;
• Develop integration and standardisation procedures for importing BIM metadata into GIS tools;
• Experience with the mapping tool software ESRI & ArcGIS;
• Experience with the Data Formats KML (Keyhole Mark-up Language) and GPKG (GeoPackage);
• Work with stakeholders to establish, disseminate and maintain a Programme GIS Vision and ensure consistency and compatibility across a programme with defined BIM systems;
• Develop and maintain Programme GIS Employers Information Requirements (EIR) Documentation;

GIS Director – Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or relevant subject
• Minimum of 15 years experience in the highway sector, and recognised expertise in the assigned field;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic;
