Industrial hygiene Head – Job Description

• Establish and steward Industrial Hygiene protocols for the Onshore Project across all EPC Packages. including Health Risk Assessment procedure for activities, associated camps, construction, commissioning and related facilities and/or project sites;
• Conduct and analyze results of personal and area biological, chemical and physical hazards monitoring in line with Project and company IH policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements;
• Manage all IH related reporting for COMPANY;
• Contribute to incident investigations related to health and hygiene-related injuries to ensure accurate root cause analysis. Support & advise EPC Contractor’s Health Risk and Ergonomic Assessments;
• Liaise with relevant personnel regarding medical surveillance per job classification and exposure potential in the workplace;
• Supports the SHES and Project Management in terms of Industrial Hygiene, Health Risk Assessments, personnel monitoring, hazard communication, ergonomic, respiratory and hearing requirements for a large, “one of a kind” LNG Plant including associated facilities and infrastructures comprising of 4X7.8MTPA process trains, as well as large and complex utilities and off-sites;
• Coordinates across multiple, large EPC Contracts – in particular with the “pool” SHES Team – to ensure alignment and proper reporting to the organization, including Major Projects Group, Stakeholders and Shareholders;
• Key focus on worker welfare, linked to IH functions, both a at site and camps;
• The role is a key position with significant impact on the project SHES performance in terms of effective implementation of, and compliance with, Industrial Hygiene procedures and systems, and supports the development and application of Industrial Hygiene strategies, Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), and Lessons Learned on the NFXP Onshore;
• Job holder oversees all EPC CONTRACTOR(s) and SUBCONTRACTORS Industrial Hygiene activities and develops solutions to IH issues using initiative, project procedures, best practices, Lessons Learned and personal knowledge and experience.
