Abu Dhabi-settled Public Oil Development Organization (NPCC) has been granted a $744 million nearby oilfield improved contract, state news office WAM provided details regarding Tuesday, referring to state-possessed Abu Dhabi Public Oil Co (ADNOC).

The designing, acquisition, and development contract is for the full field advancement of the Belbazem Seaward Block in Abu Dhabi, WAM said.

The agreement was granted by Al Yasat Oil Tasks Organization, a joint endeavor among ADNOC and China Public Petrol Company (CNPC).

Responsibilities:

Overview of the role:
Purpose & Scope:
Review all contract documentation and drawings to assess constructability, identify any potential areas for concern, and ensure any special features are brought to attention such as extra works variations.
Participate in the development and review of the construction planning package in collaboration with the offshore operation and the Project Manager to establish the sequence and duration of activities and optimize project execution.

Review Engineering drawings, documents, and deliverables relating to the area of functional responsibility to assess constructability and consistency with contract requirements. Prepare and issue SDIVs for project materials and consumables.
Prepare and/or review project-specific and related procedures to ensure comprehensive coverage of all project activities as per the contract requirements.
Coordinate all project-related activities with other departments and sections to ensure effective integration of tasks and minimize potential delays.

Liaise with the Project Manager to provide commercial and technical input to the Contracts Department at the estimation stage.
Participate in compiling the subcontractor’s scope of work for non-service requirements and undertake bid evaluations, making recommendations where appropriate. Post-award of the project, direct and monitor the subcontractor’s performance.
Identify needs and initiate job instructions and variation proposals to ensure cost-effective operations and compliance with the contract.

Work closely with the Construction Manager to adjust the project schedule according to changing priorities, delays, and other contingencies, while ensuring that cost-effective and optimum solutions are worked out.
Participate in the preparation of the client list of deliverables and progress plans; monitor performance against milestones; prepare progress reports and highlight any contractual and other problems.
Assist Construction Managers in managing and directing all site construction

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Experience requirements:

A Minimum of at least Minimum of 8 years ‘experience in offshore construction.
