Merchandiser – Job Vacancies

Job Description / Requirements:

Assist the company to optimize their sales and profits by ensuring that retail stores and on-line stores are stocked with the right products in the right quantities. This may include stocking shelves, arranging and maintaining product displays, pricing products, and monitoring the store inventory.

Key Accountabilities

1. Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs.
2. Planning and developing merchandising strategies
3. Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets

Operational Responsibilities

1. Ensure that stores, shelves or websites are stocked with the right types and quantities of products
2. Display, arrange, price, and rotate Jenan products in store
3. Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged products
4. Monitor store inventory based on sales and intake
5. Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines and bestsellers
6. Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data
7. Work and communicate with buyers, suppliers, stores, and distributors
8. Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
9. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
10. Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipelines and close deals.
11. promotion and sale of products and services associated with the technology space

Education

With degree in Marketing or related field

Experience

1. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
2. Proven working experience in merchandising 3.Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers
