Job Title – Process Technician – GCGV Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

Safely perform duties with strict adherence to procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and company policy. Ownership of personal safety and safety of co-workers.
Work a rotating shift schedule in a team environment.

Obtain unit qualification within specified time and maintain all post training requirements.
Conduct operator surveillance rounds, record data, and catch unit samples for field or laboratory analysis.
Operate and maintain unit equipment, open / close valves of various sizes, and prepare process equipment for maintenance. Process equipment includes, but is not limited to the following: pumps compressors, furnaces, towers, reactors, heat exchangers, filters, and associated piping.

Perform primary emergency response duties assigned per job post requirements.

Educational requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of the ExxonMobil pre-employment test*
Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, and drug screening
Must possess valid Driver’s License.

Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (may be forced to meet business needs)
Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
Able and willing to wear personal protective equipment to perform required job tasks, including, but not limited to fire retardant clothing, single and double hearing protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat, respiratory protection, chemical suit, etc.

Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment.

Experience requirements:

Demonstrated relevant work experience and/or relevant degree or certificate

Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing team member
Ability to work independent of direct supervision
Desire and ability to be a leader in personnel safety and teamwork dynamics
