Safety Officers – Job Description

• Maintains and submits complete and accurate files/logs/reports.
• Conducts safety training and awareness toolbox talks in collaboration with management.
• Travels on a frequent basis (via company vehicle) including out of city and weekends as necessary, working with multiple practice groups.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as additional legal regulatory requirements (i.e., OSHA).
• Carry out inspections, conduct investigations, resolve conflict, and take appropriate action.
• Prepare comprehensive reports.
• Identify, interpret and advise on concerns and issues, and recommend alternatives for their mitigation and resolution.
• Prepare monthly HSE reports and maintain data for the sites.
• Promote and facilitate the completion of monthly HSE scheduled activities.
• Maintenance of HSE Plans and HSE corrective actions.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits across varying locations across various sites.
• Undertake risk assessments of new and old project sites and facilities.
• Prepare JSA for critical site jobs.
• Facilitate investigations with site management to ensure the root causes and corrective actions are identified.
• Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs to the workforce.
• Organize support materials, participants, catering and venues for HSE training programs.
• Coordinate maintenance of HSE training records and attendees ensuring that information is filed and matrices are accurate.
• Develop and coordinate plans for HSE related training.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Safety Officers – Job Requirement

• Must be having Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in Project Safety etc
• Able to understand Safety tools, Microsoft Office etc.
