We invite you to join us. Our newest opportunity is for a talented Health & Safety Manager to join our award-winning team based in Doha, Qatar.

This position is responsible for providing Health and Safety advice and information to KEO staff and contractors regarding broad range of safety and health hazard mitigations and to raise the safety standards and ensure compliance on site.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Providing facilitation and leadership in managing a safe and healthy workplace for all staff and visitors.
• Ensuring that HSE is regarded as a high priority and is continually improved through action planning and best practice procedures.
• Facilitating implementation of Health & Safety Procedures in line with QA/QC Procedures, using existing database management tools.
• Training and familiarization of staff with Procedures, Policies, Documentation etc.
• Reviewing and updating existing Health & Safety Procedures.
• Conducting regular internal audits to ensure full compliance with procedures.
• Liaising and briefing clients on internal procedures.
• Reviewing / commenting on contractor-submitted OH&S manuals, statements, etc.
• Assisting Resident Engineers with monitoring OH&S compliance of contractors.
• Maintaining a register of all incidents and accidents that occur across the relevant project or site(s), issuing non-conformance notices.
• Ensuring that all site based plant and equipment complies with HSE/OH&S requirements and is properly licensed for operation and usage.

• To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Safety / Engineering / Environmental.
• Experience in construction preferably in drainage systems is essential.
• Professional OHS qualification certified by NEBOSH (IGC/NGC), Professional OHS qualification certified by OSHA, Professional OHS qualification certified by IOSH (Managing Safely/ Working Safely), and ISO 45001 lead auditor certification.
