Responsibilities:
- Job Description
- Translating from spoken language into sign language and vice versa to facilitate communication with people of determination with hearing disabilities
- Participate in events, activities, conferences and initiatives related to people of determination through the authority or external parties and carry out the translation process in sign language.
- Writing down information that is translated in official meetings, field posts, and events with a work team.
- Preparing social studies for cases of people of determination with the aim of interpreting in sign language for hearing disabilities in their homes or place of residence, in order to achieve their empowerment and protection from abuse, exploitation and neglect.
- Work to keep abreast of recent changes in the terminology of sign language.
- Receiving visual communications related to inquiries and communications related to people of determination with hearing disabilities and directing them in accordance with the mechanisms approved by the authority.
- Follow-up with people of determination with hearing disabilities who are registered with the authority to inform them of the latest developments in the programs and services provided to them, and to ensure their enrollment and benefit from them.
- Submitting periodic reports, including social studies, on cases registered in the Commission, percentages of achievement in programs and activities, and development notes.
- Adhere to the information security policies and procedures approved by the Authority and work to comply with the controls to ensure the confidentiality of information.
Educational requirements:
