Job Summary:

This role is a member of the construction supervision team. The jobholder is responsible for the financial administration of supervision contracts. The jobholder checks contractors’ payment applications and verifies the amounts claimed by contractors against supplier invoices and measurement records. S/He provides advice on methods of measurement found in the contract and ensures the contractor is accurately paid for actual work done in accordance with the method of measurement stated in the contract.

• Knowledge of construction supervision services
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
• Excellent QS and estimation skills
• Good financial planning and budgeting skills
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good time management skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English

Qualification required to execute this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in QS or Civil Engineering

Experience required to execute this Role:

• 5 – 8 years of experience in the Engineering Services Industry particularly in a quantity surveying role
• Demonstrated experience with FIDIC Clauses
• Experience within the Middle East
