Abu Dhabi-settled Public Oil Development Organization (NPCC) has been granted a $744 million nearby oilfield improved contract, state news office WAM provided details regarding Tuesday, referring to state-possessed Abu Dhabi Public Oil Co (ADNOC).

The designing, acquisition, and development contract is for the full field advancement of the Belbazem Seaward Block in Abu Dhabi, WAM said.

The agreement was granted by Al Yasat Oil Tasks Organization, a joint endeavor among ADNOC and China Public Petrol Company (CNPC).

Responsibilities:

Overview of the role:
Purpose & Scope:
During tendering stage, responsible for the review of inquiry documentation and the Scope of Work, perform pre-bid engineering, estimate man-hours and thus provide required inputs for bid preparation. After the award of the Project, carry out allocated duties related to the preparation, checking, and issue of Process Engineering deliverables. This responsibility includes site visits as required and close coordination with other engineering disciplines, Drafting Office Coordinator, and sometimes with the client’s project team. These role holders can be seconded to work as
Project Engineering Coordinators based on the size and complexity of the assigned project. The focus will shift from one of deep discipline knowledge to that of coordinating the various engineering disciplines involved in assigned projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to H.O.D. (Process & Safety) and works under his overall supervision.
During tendering stage, reviews inquiry documentation from the client together with Scope of Work raises queries where there is a lack of clarity, interfaces with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities, and finally provide Process inputs during bid preparation. On award of projects perform as under.

Develop drawings and document register to ensure all deliverables are accounted for per enquiry document.
Develop Process Design Basis based on scope of work, subsequent client’s clarifications and site visit.
Perform Process simulation and develop Heat & Mass Balance as required.

Perform Equipment/Instrument sizing calculations.
Prepares Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, Process data sheets, and other Process deliverables.
Prepares Operating Manual and provide support during commissioning and performance run.

Coordinates with the Drafting Office Coordinator for the checking and issuing of drawings.
Plan HAZOP, HAZID and other safety studies, provide process input and participate as required.
Works under close liaison with concerned Proj

Educational requirements:

B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute

Experience requirements:

A Minimum of at least Minimum of 6 years of experience in oil and gas plants Design and Engineering.

Desired Skills:

Good technical knowledge and skills.
Good interpersonal relationships.
Good planning and decision-making skills.

Should be familiar with routine safety studies, like HAZOP, HAZID, and SIMOPS etc.

Qualifications:

Supervisory potential.
Knowledge and expertise in using process-engineering software like HYSIS, PIPESIM, and PIPEPHASE are essential.

Proven skills in routine process calculations and use of process software and in-house developed spreadsheets.
Understanding of all Engineering disciplines.
Good knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards.

Good command of written and spoken English and report writing.
