Abu Dhabi-settled Public Oil Development Organization (NPCC) has been granted a $744 million nearby oilfield improved contract, state news office WAM provided details regarding Tuesday, referring to state-possessed Abu Dhabi Public Oil Co (ADNOC).

The designing, acquisition, and development contract is for the full field advancement of the Belbazem Seaward Block in Abu Dhabi, WAM said.

The agreement was granted by Al Yasat Oil Tasks Organization, a joint endeavor among ADNOC and China Public Petrol Company (CNPC).

Responsibilities:

Overview of the role:
Purpose & Scope:
Jobs at this level are responsible for performing / checking of all engineering deliverables in timely manner within the budget. The jobholders at this position are required to ensure the quality of all deliverables and adherence to company quality plans and job specifications / guidelines etc. The engineers at this position may have to go for offshore for site survey. The posting is generally for the NPCC base engineering office at MFY Abu Dhabi, however the jobholders may have to travel outside UAE on business trip for short durations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing, checking and ensuring technical accuracy and quality of all discipline deliverables such as structural analyses, design calculations, drawings, specifications, purchase requisitions, technical bid evaluations etc. during all phases of allotted project i.e. basic, detailed, construction and installation engineering.

Shall be responsible for planning, organizing and delegation of work to drafting staff working on the allotted project.
Directly reporting to HOD for all matters except for allotted project related issues for which, reporting to LDE / SDE.
Ensuring adherence to company procedures, client specifications, guidelines, international codes and standards.

Review of vendor documents, drawings.
Assist LDE in material procurement scope and material control for allotted projects.
Ensuring the timely issuance of all engineering deliverables pertaining to his scope.

Working within the estimated budget and ensuring high efficiency for the allotted projects.
May have to attend technical meetings with Clients, PMT, Operations, Yard etc. and maintaining cordial relationship with all parties involved in the allotted projects.
Offshore site surveys and survey reports.

Close interaction with Fabrication Yard to resolve yard related issues during fabrication stage.
Close interaction with Operation to resolve installation issues during installation phase.s

Educational requirements:

Degree in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent from a reputed institute

Experience requirements:

A Minimum of at least Minimum of Minimum 6 years experience as an HSE Design Engineer for oil and gas projects.

Desired Skills:

Job-Specific Skills:
Good technical knowledge and skills.

Good interpersonal relationships.
Good planning and decision-making skills.
Should be familiar with routine safety studies, like HAZOP, HAZID, and SIMOPS etc.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of relevant codes and practices such as SHELL DEP, BP Guide lines and ADNOC COPs, etc.
Understanding of all Engineering disciplines.
Good knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards.

Good command of written and spoken English and report writing.
