Technical Officer Civil – Job Description

• Study the project’s contract documents (time schedule, design drawings, BOQ, etc.) Responsible for reviewing and controlling the quality of engineering deliverables: workshop drawings & design checks for concrete and steel structures as well as project’s layout, infrastructure and roads.
• Roads design and drawings using AutoCAD CIVIL 3D.
• Lead a team of engineers responsible for quantity surveys and controlling procurements.
• Preparing payment certificates and variation orders and other scope oriented claims and dispute
• Coordinating between Infrastructure networks and civil works.
• Preparing Method Statements for various structural elements and activities.
• Coordinating between Mechanical, electrical, and structural design.
• Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing and/or unclear matters that may arise during construction.
• Coordinate with Surveying Engineer to provide all information about land coordinates and any required site measurements.
