Accounts Payable and Treasury Associate – Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Looking for immediate joiners.
- Participate in improving the payment control framework, manage the payment timelines and handler enquired and reconciliation with the concerned stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Undertakes a range of specialized payable, duties. This is an experienced clerk with a sound knowledge of accounting techniques, as may apply to the job. Has the ability to arrive at conclusion and follow the most appropriate course of action, within procedure constrains.
- Manage and execute all accounts payable transactions to clients, brokers, suppliers etc as per the company guidelines and SLA’s agreed
- Handle all enquires related AP and CM
- Take appropriate action and resolve/attend to complaints and issues raised by both external and internal parties in relation to AP and Cash Management function
- Collates and extracts data and produces routine reports, dashboards, schedules and letters for customers, suppliers and internal department
- Handle customer compliance and report eg, number of complaints resolved vs. raised
- AP reconciliation, supplier statement reconciliation as well as bank reconciliation
Desired Candidate Profile
- Time Management, Networking
- Knowledge on Microsoft office applications (Excel, Power point, Visio etc.)
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Competencies (As per OIC’s Competency Dictionary)
- Communication , Conceptual Thinking , Proactively , Confidence, Drive for Results, Trustworthy & Reliability
- Education, Experience and Formal/Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum experience of 2 years in similar role
- Understanding of Oracle Finance system would be an added advantage
