Responsibilities:

Job Description
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
Advice the Manager in Financial Planning and implementing financial policies and procedures related to section.

Perform other related duties as assigned
Work as a mentor of the accountants for analyzing the reconciliation and analysis duties.
Work with internal and external customers to communicate issues and results of the analysis.

Identify the risk accuracy in the section and update the profile and recommend the best solution to reduce the risk as per RTA matrix.
Manage the work and development of staff members by setting development program and supervise implementation.
Prepare and maintain the financial reports, Cash liquidity, and financial forecasts. Including monthly and annual Reports which reflecting on the Budget

Supervise the input and handling of financial data, generating reports and overseeing the work of other staff and KPI process
Ensure any variations to budgets and forecasts are explained in management reports, including any future / potential exposures to the organization.
Develop accounting, financial management and revenue assurance policy to ensure accurate information for top management in decision making & to apply strict internal controls.

Monitor the application of policies and procedures and progress and results of new measures and initiatives
Ensure that relevant information is communicated to direct reports enabling them to effectively carry out their functions.
Ensure that the accounts are compiled the end of the month and at the end of the financial year and update “chart of accounts” monthly to reflect account management activities.

Identify projects and opportunities in consultation and coordination with the Authority departments as well as the respective Agencies to help drive and monitor activities.
Maintain integration of GRP and Smart Business (software), ensuring it remains effective and operational at all times.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor degree / in Accounting / Finance from a recognized university.

Experience requirements:

Minimum of 6 years experience in the Finance and accounts function of which at least 4 years should have been in accounting role.
