Job – Application Manager
Job Description & Qualifications :
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of project plans, manage the project budgets, roles and responsibilities, issues and risk management, project governance, following PMO governance, project stakeholder management
- Work with the IT leadership team on IT strategic planning and take overall responsibility for the management and development of the Application requirements, liaising with key staff to ensure that services meet business needs.
- Have an overall view of the capabilities of the Application services and contribute to continuous improvement to meet future needs to ensure competent and forward-thinking management of IT.
- Keep abreast of new technological developments in Applications and present proposals with recommendations to senior management which would benefit the Group
- Develop Applications management processes with lean and efficient procedures.
- Experience in Facilities based solution ecosystems – Comprising of time and attendance, ERP’s and CAFM, also including digital touchpoints as applicable
- In conjunction with senior management, contribute to the IT budget planning process to ensure most effective and efficient use of available funds
Knowledge & Skills:
- Evidence of strong collaboration skills with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral & written English skills.
- Expertise in MS packages including, PowerPoint, Word, Excel & PowerApps
- A sound general Applications background with knowledge of industry standards
- Excellent knowledge of ICT initiatives and developments.
- Experience managing resources in a fast-moving environment and on projects with evolving requirements and accelerated timelines.
- Strong project management skills (organization and time).
- Self-learner/self-starter who can be immediately effective with ambiguity or a lack of direction.
- Core Skills
- Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices. Experience with database management.
- Familiarity with Project management principles.
- Experience with Information system troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated skill in developing automated business systems.
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Advanced Skills
- Knowledge of advanced systems analysis methods, practices, and principles.
- Knowledge of cost modeling principles.
- Experience preparing workflow analyses.
- Experience leading and facilitating training
Desired Candidate:
- He/ She should have minimum of 10 years proven experience delivering Applications solutions in a multi-functional Group,
- He/ She should have minimum of 4 years’ experience managing a team
- Previous experience in managing applications in the Facilities Management domain is a must
- Proven track record in successfully implementing ERP / CAFM systems.
- Experience in implementing FSI will be a big plus.
