Responsibilities:

Quality Management: – Implementation: [1] Ensure that design best practice patterns are followed appropriately [2] Ensure that implementation and design are performed at the highest possible rate of performance and make maximum use of system resources – Quality of codes:

[1] Ensure Dubai Customs coding standards and use of innovative tools Such as selection pattern to check for compliance [2] Ensure bug fixes and feature implementation steps are followed for agreed design Review and refine inputs: [1] Actively participate in requirements review sessions
[2] Requirements include software requirements specifications, enterprise infrastructure solutions, user interface specifications, and business solutions Software and Engineering Documents
[3] Problems accessing the tool Follow-up issues and follow-up on defects and their termination in light of the related work products including any possible arrangements or discussions with interested parties – Ensuring coverage compliance and completion of unit inspection for Dubai Customs standards

Participate as a member of the functional support in managing and supporting inspection cycles (systems integration testing and user acceptance testing)
Reporting: – Submit daily status reports to the line manager – Ensure project tasks are updated on a daily basis
Defect Management: – Correct implementation-related defects – Ensure that appropriate notes/comments are added by developers as necessary

Distribution Management: Participate in the creation of the transformation plan as well as the software product documents
Configuration management: – Ensure that the project repository is created as part of the environment setup – Ensure that all development and design products are in the source control repository – Ensure that the source for version control is identified prior to any deployment or milestone confidentialityMaintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in line with Dubai Customs’ information security policies and procedures to protect information from any disclosure or misuse

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent with related technical experience
