Architectural Engineer – Job Description

• Lead a team of supporting engineers and designers to deliver the scope of work to a defined schedule and quality level.
• Communicate (written and verbal) clearly and concisely, to a broad audience, both internally and externally.
• Responsible for the architectural layout of accommodation platforms as well as the office and workshop sections of process platforms, including providing general architectural input on stairways, accessways, functional rooms etc. that allows an efficient working environment.
• Provide input to overall Basis of design, functional specification and Scope of Work.
• Coordinate relevant parts of the design with the Company’s operations team and other design disciplines.
• Assure that all applicable regulations and codes/standards are followed and incorporated in design and relevant Company specifications.
• Apply knowledge of architectural vendors products and packages normally used.
• Participate in interdisciplinary design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, lay-out review etc.
• Work closely with Technical Safety discipline to implement fire ratings, mustering and EER provisions into the building design.
• Responsible for the technical input of architectural packages from inquiry to vendor data review.

Architectural Engineer – Job Requirement

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in architectural engineering.
• Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast-moving and challenging environment.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, including excel and word.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
