Job – Architectural Inspector

Job Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform “Hold”, “Witness” and “Surveillance” inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
• Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
• Monitor Contractor’s Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
• Review and evaluate Contractor’s Quality document submittals. Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
• Record legibly and accurately all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials and equipment and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
• Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
• Complete induction training and orientation for all technical procedures relevant to their competency based on the competency matrix designed.
• Adhere and stay committed to the company’s QHSE Policy and to any HSE related responsibilities as determined by the company and outlined in the Responsibilities section of the company’s Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
• Should assume utmost confidentiality of all findings obtained during inspection by signing the Confidentiality Statement at the time when appointed by company.
• Should adhere to the commitment made by signing the “Conflict of Interest Declaration” as laid down by company.

Qualification:

• B.S degree in Civil Engineering or B.S. in Architecture with at least six (6) years of experience in Architectural and Interior Design inspection. OR Two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in Architectural and Interior Design inspection.
• Shall have a demonstrated knowledge and training in ISO 9000, ASTM, IBC & Glass Reinforced Concrete Association (GRCA).
• Shall be Conversant with international codes such as ACI, AAMA, ANSI, and BSI.
