Job Description – BIM Manager

Job Summary

The BIM Manager leads the implementation of Building Information Modelling processes and standards across construction projects, ensuring accurate model coordination, clash detection, and effective use of BIM to support design and construction delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Manage BIM coordinators, modelers, and draftsmen.
• Oversee model coordination and clash detection across disciplines.
• Ensure models comply with project LOD and modelling standards.
• Coordinate BIM workflows between design, procurement, and construction teams.
• Support quantity extraction and 4D/5D BIM processes.
• Conduct BIM coordination meetings with design and site teams.
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and quality control procedures.
• Train project staff on BIM tools and processes.
• Report BIM progress and issues to project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Substantial experience in BIM management on construction projects.
