Responsibilities :

Support the implementation of current emission reduction projects which cover carbon storage as well as a behavioral change program on a community-scale for energy consumption and mobility choices.t the latter involves extensive activities related to community-engagement including events and content creation for marketing and communication activities.
Support in researching, drafting and presenting reduction strategies for specific emission sources in the context of ENOWA and NEOM based on latest technologies and innovations

Liaising with internal ENOWA key stakeholders and focal points for the implementation of the ESG framework and to ensure alignment with the wider stakeholders in NEOM and the kingdom
Support in stakeholder management and engagement across all NEOM sectors to support their needs with regards to carbon management and to ensure alignment when driving new initiatives that require the involvement and buy-in from multiple sectors
Support members of the Carbon Management Unit with market data and information through research and assessments

As an integral team member, participate in the implementation NEOM’s Carbon Management Framework which covers aspects including carbon accounting, reductions, offsetting and communication

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in energy or environmental engineering or any relevant area

Experience requirements:

Practical experience in implementing carbon management projects in areas including but not limited to construction, energy efficiency, waste management, green mobility and carbon capture, utilization and storage.
Knowledge of carbon accounting methods, analysis and interpretation of datasets, and ESG reporting standards (IPPC, ISO, GHG Protocol, GRI, TCFD, etc.)
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in topics such as sustainability, community engagement, innovation, research and technologies pertaining to climate action

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
