Job – Civil Structural Engineer

Job Description:

Employment: Full Time
My client is a leading international contractor work on major construction projects all over the world. They have recently been awarded a major civil engineering project on the NEOM development and are looking to recruit an experienced civil structures engineer who will be managing the construction of different parts of the project, especially those related with the concrete lining of the tunnel, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders.

• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.
• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on constructability of the project.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.
• Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Preparation of Method of Statements and revision of shop drawings.
• Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.
• Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirement:

• Candidates should have a degree in civil or structural engineering or a similar qualification and must have proven experience in the design and construction of civil structures in the middle east and must have worked on tunnel projects.
