Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyse configurations of the basic components of a structure.
• To be provided technical advice to the design team.
• Before proceeding to the production structural Analysis report must produce and certify as per the approved design.
• Structure analysis report to be prepared & certified on each Bathroom POD for loading, Offloading, Transportation, Hoisting and Erection.
• Consider the strength of various materials, e.g. timber, concrete, steel, Tiles and brick, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design.
• Examine structures at risk of collapse and advise how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the POD structure.
• liaise with designers, architects, Production crew to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
• Liaise with Site Safety team regarding the Risk assessments and Method statement of POD Hoisting and Erection.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
• Apply expert knowledge of the forces that act on various in POD structures.
• Make drawings, specifications, and computer models of structures for building contractors.
• liaise with Main contractors/Project Team to ensure that newly erected buildings are structurally sound to Install the bathroom PODs in every floor.
• Calculate the pressures, stresses and strains that each component, such as a beam or lintel, will experience from other parts of the structure due to human use or environmental pressures such as weather or earthquakes.
• Attention to Detailing
• Good communication skills

Pre-requisites:

• BE – Civil
• 5 years’ experience (3 Years in UAE)
• Preferred experience in Modular/Prefabricated bathrooms.
• Strong experience in STAAD Pro & CAD Software.
• BIM/Revit models experience is advantage
