Job Title – Corporate Website Content Strategist Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, developing and implementing ExxonMobil’s corporate website short- and long-term content strategy, user experience and governance
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders, agency partners, web developers and design teams to develop/write site content, style and layout
  • Develops briefing documents, gains agreement on key messages and informs colleagues to ensure broad understanding and coordination of communications strategies
  • Works closely with corporate, regional, divisional and local site representatives to ensure broad understanding of and alignment with external communications strategies
  • Responsible for managing analytics reporting, with support from agency partners
  • Stays up-to-date with current trends/developments and generates new ideas

 

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in digital or multimedia design, communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, advertising, or graphic arts preferred)
  • Prior relevant communications experience in digital, omni-channel marketing in a B2B, B2C or agency environments
  • Strong communication and project management skills with an eye for creative design and compelling writing; strong creative portfolio; ability to manage large, complex/multi-layer, quick-turn projects
  • Basic technical knowledge of content management system (CMS) capabilities, web publishing, familiarity with social media and CRM tools; Sitecore and Salesforce knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of SEO and analytics reporting
  • Work on tight deadlines and within the real time, fast-paced environment of digital and social communications

 

Experience requirements:

  • Background in paid media strategy and tactics
  • Ability to quickly understand, assimilate and communicate complex issues
  • Familiarity and interest in issues related to energy, economics, the environment, sustainability, corporate citizenship and government relations
  • Strong project-management skills with an ability to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities change
  • Writing and editing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Enthusiasm for public affairs challenges
  • Strategic advisor on holistic user experience / user journey
  • Familiarity with agile project management principles
