Abu Dhabi-settled Public Oil Development Organization (NPCC) has been granted a $744 million nearby oilfield improved contract, state news office WAM provided details regarding Tuesday, referring to state-possessed Abu Dhabi Public Oil Co (ADNOC).

The designing, acquisition, and development contract is for the full field advancement of the Belbazem Seaward Block in Abu Dhabi, WAM said.

The agreement was granted by Al Yasat Oil Tasks Organization, a joint endeavor among ADNOC and China Public Petrol Company (CNPC).

Responsibilities:

Overview of the role:
PURPOSE & SCOPE: Job holders at this level lead teams involved with the development of discipline-specific engineering drawings. For small projects, they will be designated as Designers, with sole responsibility for design work, whilst on larger projects, they will assume responsibilities as Team Leaders. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises and participates in discipline-specific Drafting activities carried out by Level 1 and 2 staff, ensuring that work assignments are completed on time and to set standards.

Studies and understands the scope of work and specifications for each project. Prepares basic drawings and allocates them to team members for the work of preparing detailed engineering drawings.
Acts as the ultimate checker for all drawings produced by Draftsmen to ensure compliance with brief, consistency, and quality of work.
Prepares the Bill of Materials for the entire project, ensuring the accuracy and comprehensiveness of information.

Provides input for the resolution of engineering queries from clients or third parties.
Undertakes interdisciplinary coordination and performs IDC to ensure integration of project Drafting activities.
Works in close conjunction with discipline engineer to ensure speedy resolution of any problems that might arise and that the project schedule is adhered to.

Resolves yard queries (within a level of capability) that might arise during construction phase to ensure work is carried out conforms with the drawings.
Undertakes pre-engineering site surveys in order to confirm the correctness of handover documents and the suitability of allocated site for project implementation.
Design / Prepare Cable block diagram, Single line diagram, Interconnection diagram, Instrument Hook up details, Instrument index, Cable tray layout, Lighting layouts, Instrument / F&G layouts & MCT layout drawings.

Design / Prepare support except for the simple types.
Perform 3D design activities.
Ensure all the Electronic files are properly copied to

Educational requirements:

Technical Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience requirements:

A Minimum of at least 10 years of drafting experience, with a minimum of 2 years at Level 2.

Desired Skills:

Job-Specific Skills:

Supervisory experience and team-leader qualities.
Experienced and competent Computer-Aided Design (CAD) operator.

Qualifications:

Good interdisciplinary knowledge.

Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
