Job Title – Support Designer – Engineered Systems (AutoCAD, CADWorx) Jobs in Houston – Texas, USA

• Proficient using AutoCAD 2017 or later
• Proficient using 2017 or later CADWorx Plant & P&ID
• Requires thorough knowledge of P&ID drawings, ISA symbols, ISA Identification, and CAD software
• Basic understanding of PFDs, drafting standards, geometric dimensioning, and 2D detailing process
• Self-motivated, ability to work under general supervision, close attention to detail
• Associate degree or certification in ME, CAD, or related field with one to three years drafting of mechanical equipment, or equivalent combination of education and experience      preferred.
• Experience modeling P&IDs and equipment
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Coordinate with others to accomplish objectives
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
• Proficient using complete Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and PC skills
• Proficient with email system (Microsoft Outlook)
• Clear and concise verbal and written communications
• Understanding of fabrication of structural skids and vessels
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
• Overtime as required
