Job Description

KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
Review and approve the valuation of variation, claims and all other contractual and commercial issues as well as payment certificates.

Prepare commercial assessment for variation and claims committee approvals.
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Draft contractual and commercial correspondences.

Cost controlling of the projects to complete the work within the budget and timeframe, in coordination with Consultants/Contractors and concerned departments.
Prepare Cost planning and Estimates.
Prepare Tender and Contract documents, in particular, Conditions of Contract, for Projects.

Prepare Terms of References (TOR) for Consultancy Services.
Review submitted tenders commercially and contractually.
Prepare the Tender Evaluation report for the submitted Tenders and recommend the suitable Tenderer to award the project, in coordination with concerned departments.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems from a recognized university.

Experience requirements:

8 years of working experience in a relevant field.

Desired Skills:

Prepare Letter of Awards / Acceptance and Contract Documents for signing.
Value engineering/Life cycle cost analysis
Preparation letters for Expression of Interest, Invitations, Tender Notices

Report to the manager on cost savings achieved on projects

Qualifications:

Administrate and coordinate the work with other departments to resolve all Contractual and Commercial issues.

Provide Primary advice to Manager and Concerned Departments on contractual matters
Conduct site visits to verify the work done
Attend commercial meetings
