Job Title – Engineering Manager, Data Insights and Reporting (Remote) Jobs in Brazil

Responsibilities:

Planning, designing, and overseeing projects, as well as managing finances and supervising one or more engineering teams

Educational requirements:

BS or MS in computer science or a related technical field.
10+ years experience developing data or reporting platforms
2+ years experience developing reporting solutions

2+ years experience managing remote, international multi-disciplinary teams
Hands-on manager willing to contribute individually alongside the team
Experience with Python (Flask and FastAPI), Postgres, React/Vue

Experience with Microservices, robust UI/UX and high availability applications

Experience requirements:

Experience with multi-tenancy reporting

Experience with Postgres, ideally sharded Postgres solutions
Real time ETL experience

Desired Skills:

Data pipeline design
Knowledge of Redis, Aurora, Terraform
Knowledge of Python, Java, Flink, React

Knowledge of Confluent and AWS
Knowledge of Spotify orgs and terminology

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a team environment with members of varying skill levels.
Highly motivated.
Learns quickly.
