Job Title – Equity Analyst Jobs in UAE
Responsibilities:
Portfolio analysis and Reporting
- Establish working knowledge of the financial goals, risk-return capacity, and strategic objectives to ensure accurate analysis and forecasts of the public equities investment options according to the company’s business interests.
- Support the reporting line with the operational and legwork for the public equity portfolio management activities including drafting and writing research reports, preparing comprehensive financial models & presentations, investment memos, etc. for existing and prospective investments along with monitoring the performance of the assigned investments within the overall portfolio.
- Analyze financial data and public records of public companies, public REITs, etc. using valuation techniques, financial ratios, etc. to be added to the portfolio, determine the value of the company’s stock, and predict the company’s future financial picture to support investment decisions.
- Conduct deep dive fundamental analysis on a variety of stocks and use quantitative metrics to identify inflection points for such investments.
- Conduct due diligence on companies and public equity fund managers for the prospective and existing investments by researching, reading financial statements, analyzing market data, keeping proper track records, performing background checks of persons managing funds, etc.
- Support the reporting line in placing securities trades, including communications with approved broker/dealers and processing trade executions.
- Translate financial metrics into actionable insights that improve decision-making, performance, and business & financial growth of the Co’s public equity portfolio.
- Assist with periodic reviewing of the financial performance of the underlying investments on a timely basis – including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet analysis to ensure they are managed in line with current objectives & mandates.
- Create ad hoc financial models and provide various financial analyses based on senior management’s requirements.
- Keep abreast of industry developments & news and go through existing portfolios and competitor companies to generate potential new ideas

- Follow all relevant Investment function policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance to the organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value-driven culture within the organization.

- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate statements and reports to meet the Investment function requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering, or any related field.
- Professional certification in CFA/CA/CAIA/PMP/CIMA is preferred.
Experience requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role or in equity research or investment banking.
