Job – Fire Fighter

Job Requirements:

• The Fire Fighter is responsible for protecting lives and property from fire by performing rescue and firefighting operations that involve fires, vehicle accidents, and natural disasters. Perform search, rescue, and firefighting operations involving fires, accidents, floods, bomb incidents, and spillage of dangerous substances.
• Safely and efficiently, operate emergency response vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Operate hand and power tools to ventilate structures, position and climb ladders, pull hoses from the truck bed and connect to hydrant and pump apparatus, and operates water charged hose lines of various sizes to combat fires.
• Operate pumps, foam generators, boom and ground sweep nozzles, and other similar equipment.
• Perform salvage and overhaul operations to minimize damage.
• Responding to fire alarms quickly to regulate and extinguish forest or building fires.
• Operating firefighting and rescuing equipment such as aerial ladders, axes, fire hoses etc.
• Providing emergency medical services with compliance to established standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in fire services.
• International Fire Service Certification or similar.
• Certifications as Firefighter, Hazardous Materials Awareness, Hazardous Materials Operations, Hazardous Materials Apparatus Driver/Operator Aerial, (CPR) card Basic license will be accepted.
