Responsibilities:

Job Description
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop, manage and ensure the implementation of projects / programs related to the traffic safety based on departmental operational plan.

Study and approve of traffic diversions for all roads / structures, develops and carries out the routine inspection system and define corrective action for all road construction by RTA in Dubai Emirate.
Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
Manage the processing of contractors and consultants payment certificates and remunerations respectively and issuing of taking over and end of defects liability certificates.

Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients and representatives for construction-related activities.
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Direct the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities issues.

Ensure that the services of subcontractors and major construction equipment required by the project will beavailable at the appropriate time to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
Serves as the primary contact with project manager, subcontractors, client Maintains and ensure strong clien tand community relations.
Manage the performance of the section & ensure the achievement of KPIs related to section’s processes, projects and programs, and submit performance related reports on time

Keep alert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.
Supervise and approve all construction works by managing consultants / contractors effectively, ensure completion of construction projects on time, within the budget and in conformance with contract specifications, in line with international standards & procedures, and ensure safety of public during constructions.
Ensures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost.

Manage a comprehensive system and procedures of various regulations to be used during construction supervision, as well as the methodologies to be utilized including but not limited to approval of supervision staff, approval of work program, materials, subcontractors, new rates and claims, handing over new site to the contractors, coordination with services authorities, and develop & implement site evaluation and follow up system.
Manage the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Structural /Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Experience requirements:

7 years of working experience, including at least 3 years in supervisory / leadership role.
