Job Title – MEP Construction Manager (International) – Roads Jobs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

Delivering a specific section within an area of the works. Construction management and delivery of the Sadler’s Wells Theatre, comprising concrete and steel frame, insitu brickwork, metal glazing and cladding, blockwork, roofing, external soft and hard landscaping and finishes, utilities, MEP and internal architectural fit out.
Providing input into site wide management issues and a high level of interaction and coordination with other operational members of the site wide team will be required.
Management of the construction delivery of interfaces between Sadler’s Wells, BBC studios, the Public Realm and any existing public interfaces in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Adhering to and suggesting enhancements and improvements to Mace policies, procedures and protocols for construction, procurement, health and safety and other functions.
Managing site logistics set up and planning for individual works sections in support of the work completed on strategic logistics.
Ensuring the working at height and edge protection strategy is being safely and efficiently implemented.

Planning and implementing in collaboration with the rest of the client’s delivery team.
Supporting the building lead project manager with contractor coordination activities such as 8 week lookahead planning.
Managing the team during package contractor to package contractor handovers and close out of works within areas to timelines.

Contributing information on specific areas to weekly and monthly reports, as well as issuing and maintaining performance and KPI indicators.

Educational requirements:

A relevant degree qualification. You have knowledge and experience of working with concrete and steel frames, brickwork, glazing & cladding, external landscaping, utilities, MEP, architectural fit-out packages, and construction techniques with technical expertise across specific types of construction. Understanding of the NEC contract form. You have experience in managing the strategic and detailed planning and programming of construction projects, construction sequencing, recovery plans, and resource allocation.
