Job Summary:

The Project Manager is a senior member of the Roads & Highways (R&H) design services team in design center. S/He is responsible for the management of R&H design projects of moderate complexity, including team management, schedule and cost control, quality management, risk management and client management throughout the design project lifecycle. S/He is accountable for the delivery of R&H design projects of moderate complexity in accordance with project budgets and schedules while satisfying all technical and quality projects requirements. While doing so, the jobholder is the main client counterpart and ensures client requirements are handled in a professional manner, while maintaining a positive and reputable company image in all interactions. The jobholder is expected to progressively support and work on more complex projects, as needed.

• Knowledge of Roads and highways design
• Solid knowledge in all aspects of project management
• Excellent knowledge of project management software
• Strong budget and financial management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Good understanding of quality control and risk management
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management, clients and various departments
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic and French are an advantage

Qualification required to execute this role:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, PMP certified

Experience Required to execute this Role:

• 12+ years of experience in the Roads & Highways Design Industry in a top tier regional/multinational engineering consultancy firm
• Strong experience and track record in managing Roads & Highways design projects

• Significant experience within the Middle East
