About Enerflex

Job Title – Mechanical Engineer – LATAM Group Jobs in Houston – Texas, USA

Responsibilities:

Bilingual in English Spanish a requirement – Portuguese language desired but not required.
Selection of dynamic equipments (pumps, compresor, blower, etc.).
Selection or design of static equipments (heat exchangers, separators, API tanks, etc.).

Drafting capabilities (AutoCad).
Prepare equipment RFQ packages and technical bid evaluations and make vendor suggestions.
Review vendor design documents and coordinate with vendors during equipment design and fabrication process.

Specify and review drawings and data for large static and rotating equipment.
Conduct routine and complex engineering, design, analysis and technical tasks.
Develop original designs for static equipment.

Conduct technical leadership role to supervise/control subcontractors.
Develop QA/QC standards for rotating equipment.
Prepare equipment technical specifications and data sheets.

Suggest for spare parts for rotating equipment.
Function as project manager to control skid fabrication subcontractors.

Educational requirements:

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) not required but desirable
An understanding of instrumentation and process control systems would be an asset.

Understands and is committed to meeting customer service requirements.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Self-motivated and self-directed.

Computer proficiency a must (MS Office, Outlook, AutoCAD experience would be considered an asset).

Experience requirements:

Mechanical design experience (PVelite or equivalent)

Commissioning and start up experience.
5 years of experience in mechanical design for Oil & Gas facilities.
