Job Title – Mechanical Contact Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities:

Respond to plant operational events
Analyze site fixed equipment performance

Drive site asset improvement in the areas of: Safety, Reliability, Environmental Performance and Equipment Capability and Efficiency in a team setting
Support capital projects and minor modifications in the areas of design consulting, technical quality assurance, and start-up assistance
Communicate and interact daily with Inspection, Maintenance, Process, and Engineering team members

Drives information and drawing improvements

Educational requirements:

Required B.S. (or higher) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience requirements:

5-10 years of professional experience within an operating company, major engineering contractor or vendor (petrochemical or other heavy industry experience strongly desired)
Strong analytical and communication skills

Demonstrated work experience in downstream manufacturing operations

Desired Skills:

Good communication skills.

Problem – solving skills.
Decision – making ability.
Commercial awareness.

Ability to motivate others.
Team working skills.
Good knowledge of building methods and regulations.
