Job Title – Petroleum Engineer I Jobs in Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities:
- Engages with leaders and experts from Upstream to provide guidance on best-in-class petroleum engineering tenets. Introduces new technologies to enhance hydrocarbon asset characterization and recovery. Leads, designs and participates in integrated petroleum engineering studies. Identifies petroleum engineering technical challenges and develops solutions. Supports the development/updating of technical standards and guidelines related to area of expertise. Participates in technical societies and technical publications in the area of expertise. Works as an independent contributor, mentors less experienced engineers and acts as a reference in the area of specialty.
Educational requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering or related science as appropriate to the required discipline. M.S. orPh.D. degree is preferred in related field.
Experience requirements:
- Minimum of 12 Years of
Experience of extensive production engineering with international experience dealing with unconventional resources or HPHT/Tight Gas with a strong understanding of hydraulic fracturing of unconventional plays.
Desired Skills:
- You should be capable to support completion and workover activities in the field including, new well completions, A/L design selection, sand control completions, Frac design for high skin wells and day to day operational support for all remedial workover activities in the field. The candidate should be familiar with simulation software such as Prosper, Saphir, WellCat and Stimplan (or equivalent) with the ability to perform nodal analysis.
