AQNB1 Guarantees Supervisor- SME

Guarantees Supervisor– SME– Doha-Qatar

Role Summary: The role of Guarantees supervisor is to assist managing the centralized processing of the Trade Finance transactions encompassing Guarantees, lead the work of the unit staff at Group level to ensure timely and seamless processing of transactions and conduct of activities pertaining to trade finance operations in an effective manner resulting in the highest level of customer service quality and ensuring that the related financial and operational risks are mitigated

Role Description:You will be responsible for contributing directly to the groups Key Performance Indicators, ensuring your team and department work to achieve these. Ensuring the day to day transactions are completed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner, you and your team will work within the outlined Service Level Agreements. Authorising transactions within your mandate, you will possess the ability to review and assess the transactions without compromising customer service and the agreed service level agreements. Ensuring you and your team record and perform transactions in a compliant manner, you will work with and assist the internal and external auditors when appropriate.

Qualifications: You will have a degree in Accounting or a finance related discipline and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in foreign trade operations. With a high work ethic, you will lead by example, motivating your team to provide the most efficient compliant service possible. You will have excellent knowledge of local, regional and international regulations governing the area. Combining your excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain relations internally and with external bodies, you will be a determined, focused individual.
